Shanghai 2 Cracktro (23 november 1990) wrote "BUCKAROO BANZAI AND PHANTOM PHLEGM ARE NOT LONGER NEUA! PLEASE QUIT BOTHERING THEM! FiRe and Wolfen - Let`s PARTY!" and went on to say "Welcome to NEUA's first game release since the breakup" and "All old NEUA distro boards have been DROPPED! You will have to re-apply." - indicating some big changes in the group recently to that. It also featured a member list; Massive Ego, JizMak the Gusher, FiRe, Lord Wolfen, WildCat, Gordon Gekko, Island Hacker, Pizza Bob, Midnight Modifier and Casy Jones.

Galactic Review #7 (14 april 1991) featured a group report, writing "NEUA started about 6 months ago with a minimum amount of members and respect in the pirate community. They were (and still are) known as the "party on...shit happens" group. Things have changed. NEUA is now one of the largest pirate groups around and growing. Headed by president (head party animal) Massive Ego and Vice Prez FiRe,the group has enjoyed many ups and downs. I will not look back on the history, but instead I will focus on the present and the on the future of NEUA. The group currently consists of 4 crackers, 16 couriers and a shitload of help from pirates out there. NEUA is currently re-organizing the group and we are accepting couriers, dist. sites, crackers and free beer. We will also be putting out a few releases soon, so look out for us!" The SCD Report 8 (july 1991) mentioned "CCC merged with NEUA" - we are still unsure what group CCC is.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1 may 1992) listed Buckaroo Banzai, FiRe (mentors), Ice Nine, Midnight Modifier and Time Bandit as members.
