System 5 was an originally German group formed by Ghoul in august of 1989. A swapper advert in Cracker Journal 16 (october 1989) read, "A new group is born: System 5 ! ! !"

Cracker Journal 18 (january 1990) reported that Demons had left Alpha Flight to join, that Cosmos (austria) and Mellenium had joined the group. The advert section of the same magazine featured a swapping ad listing an address in Schweinfurt, Germany for contact. Swapper advert in Cracker Journal 19 (march 1990), listing a PLK in Karlsruhe, Germany.
