Swapper adverts in Cracker Journal 11 (december 1988), Cracker Journal 12 (january 1989) and Cracker Journal 13 (march 1989), all pointing to an address in Helsinki (stylized as HKI), Finland. Cracker Journal 14 (may 1989) reported that "First Wave members joined Accession.", indicating the group may have ceased to exist. Cracker Journal 16 (october 1989) reported, "First Wave left Accession, now with new member from Helsinki and the name: Unique." Based on information on that group, it seems that Cool J, Santtu and Equalizer joined the newly formed Unique, likely ending the existence of First Wave as a group.
