Alta is originally from Sweden, but currently lives in the USA. He was interviewed for In Medias Res.

Alta first appeared on the Rebels memberlist in the february 1991 pack Sweetest Perfection 12. He later moved on from Rebels to The Silents.

Alta has worked on a number of games, including Samurai Shodown (1993), Fatal Fury Special (1993), Daze Before Christmas (1994), A Dinosaur's Tale (1994), Nightmare Circus (1995), NBA Hang Time (1996), Disney's Pocahontas (1996), True Crime: Streets of LA (2003), Shrek 2 (2004), True Crime: New York City (2005), Kung Fu Panda (2008) and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009).
