Founded by Sludge, CRiSiS is the North American art group formerly known as Unison. It renamed to avoid confusion with Union. The group wound up and merged into RELiC after its May 1994 artpack once Sludge lost interest in maintaining a group.

In 1995 Loko aka Kid Frost brought the group back for one final release.
