BBS operated by the Finnish home computer user magazine MikroBitti. Access was granted to the subscribers of the magazine.

MBnet was launched in 1994 and operated until June 2002. At the top of its popularity it had 32.000 users and ran on 250 nodes. While being a BBS that reached far beyond the scene, it was a meeting point of sceners as well, and got many newcomers into the scene. In 1999, the BBS self-described as "the number one meeting place for the Finnish demo scene" in an advert.
