Gasman, we're not discussing a "Pouet drama". It's a far more serious issue we're talking about, which you failed to understand. What's worse, you also failed to observe basic decency. Shutting down a serious conversation, thinking that you should police us is quite an indication that you shouldn't be a moderator.
There's a growing trend of political censorship and cancel culture on the demoscene. We aren't the first, and not the only ones affected. The very fabric, which defines the demoscene, is being torn apart by some people. Your current behavior actually lines up with their ambitions, but I will allow you that you acted out of ignorance, and not malice.
Right now, there is another topic, right on this board, about the same thing, albeit expressed in a less ornamented manner. Do you think it's a coincidence? It's all a "Pouet drama"? Please, if you want to be a silly goose, just get into the pond.
We would like to discuss things in peace and in a mature manner. Not with nannies hovering over us, and silencing us if they don't like what we're discussing. Thank you.
So khm. Where were we, Defiance? I'm afraid your off-scene political opinions matter as little as mine. These deluded individuals do not care, and do not even understand such nuances as whether you're a socialist, a conservative, or don't even care. You said something that they didn't like, therefore you're a Nazi, and shut the fuck up (quite literally, it seems). I could write a whole dissertation on how these immature individuals see the world, thinking they're the last line of defense between society and "Nazis". Others indeed wrote dissertations on many aspects of this hysterical behavior, which is mainly due to a partial dysfunction of the frontal lobe, causing a condition called alexythymia. It worsens with age.
Whatever the reason is, this shouldn't be allowed. The demoscene isn't the place where you should feel like walking on eggshells all the time. We aren't a fucking corporate office in downtown Los Angeles, and these guys aren't HR. And yes, you're very right: what they are doing is unlawful. You can't ban someone over their real or perceived political or other views, not even from a website.
But then, what shall we do? Take legal action against scene.org? It would totally work, but the intent isn't to attack and destroy scene.org.
