We added a new production type to Demozoo today - the Docsdisk phenomenon now has its own perch to sit on! I am sure there are quite a few of these in the database already, so if you would be so kind as to help reclassify them if/when you see them, that would be lovely.

Hope everyone has a GREAT weekend!

What's the difference between a docsdisk and a diskmag?

cxw: A docsdisk is a collection of manuals for games, utilities and the like, while a diskmagazine contains editorial content.

Ah now the name also makes sense to me. Thanks :)

I guess it was not very common on MS-DOS or other PC machines onwards... They are mainly spreaded on Amiga and Atari ST often containing full typed in manuals for games... they often went along with pirated games :)
