Nice picture but when I open the PNG I get a picture featuring 159 colors and I cannot open the IFF picture. Guess I must be some sort of a lamer. It has to be a 16 color picture, right ?
The IFF file loads OK in NeoChrome Master 2.28. But it is not the same as the PNG. This feels bad, I'll try to contact the maker of the picture to clarify this situation.
@Havoc : to be honest I seemed to remember that the picture used STe palette not rastersplits. Wasn't it supposed to be a 16 color compo ? Anyway no need to argue, there would be so much to say ;)
s_t_s: Indeed, there is no need to argue, it turns out that a wrong IFF file was delivered to the compo team. The correct one is available here: http://outlinedemoparty.nl/stniccc/ONYX2015.IFF This version seems to match the PNG and uses rastersplits and STF palette like the file delivered at compo time.
As for 16 colours, the rules just said that it should be possible to display the picture with a common Atari ST drawing program. So there was no reason to refuse this picture in the compo.

For the record, we did announce the pic uses rastersplits and the rules for the compo did not disallow that.
