Axis was a C64 demo group formed in Belgium in early 1988. On june 22, several Swedish members joined from the group Sprint.1 Razor explained; "yesterday(the 22:th of june 1988) a guy from belgium called me up(rubber flasher) i contacted him a few days ago and asked if he wanted to join 'sprint' (have ya' seen 'rubber alone' and 'rubber ask you'? ... he was in a group called 'axis' and asked us to join his group! well, they have hot originals,they can code,swap,paint e.t.c .... so, the same day as we finished our first demo: 'amazing code' we joined a new cool group: 'axis!' They said there were four members before they joined, and then listed Razor, Rubber Flasher, Micro, Zonix, X-Plosion, The Only, Hoson, and three unknown people as members. Axis made their last release in october, making their lifespan relatively short.
