SyNC's first public announcement found in WWC2SYNC.NFO from Jan 1994 claimed that World Wide Couriers had been abandoned and "morphed" into SyNC. Though, the following day, ShadowKeeper president of WWC countered this claim in WWCINFO.NFO.
