There is a PC warez courier group that used the The Flame Arrows name that ran from 1997 through to at least 2001. It is apparently related to the Amiga group going back to 1988.
Over time it also created a few subgroups including, TFAiSO, TFAMP3, TFAServices. And in a 2001 they list, "TFAAmiga - (Originate) TFA Demo/Assembler Coding".
It all began in 1988, when TFA was an Amiga group. You can read that story on the official Amiga TFA pages.
TFA stands for: The Flame Arrows.
but now we don't use that name anymore.
We're just TFA or T.F.A.
In 1997 a few of the members who were working with pc's started chatting on IRC, and TFA gained members in other countries.
Countries like America, England, Italy, Australia and many others.
And they are not all male members, the ladies are doing their stuff aswell!
