Purple

(pc)

Purple is a Danish pc demo group, formed in mid-1994 after the original group Illusion merged with shareware group Digatron. Although their first release was the intro Contro, announcing the new group, the main reason for setting up Purple was to work on a diskmag. The first issue of Contrast was indeed released in December 1994.

The original members, as presented in Contro, were:
- Darkwing (organizer)
- Harmless (graphics, swap)
- Mystical (musician)
- Phoenix (graphics)
- Viper (coder)
- Capone (coder)
- Log Head (coder)
- Splatt (graphics)
- Last Nerve (coder)

Voted #12 most popular group in Fleur 3 (may 1999).
