According to an interview with Genesis¹, USA was founded in the fall of 1991 as a PC warez section of Fairlight - collectively often mentioned as USA/FLT. The members came mostly from a part of The Humble Guys that split from the group. The interview listed The NotSoHumble Babe, Silencer, Genesis, Strider (senior staff), Lord Blix, Suicidal, Harry Lime, Static, The Necromancer, R. Bubba Magillicutty, Mad Gib, The Guch, Lord Sterling, Snuggles, Repo Man, FAThead (staff), Morpheus, The Bartender, Crime Slave, Dr. Crippen, Heavy Metal, Live Wire and Cross (couriers) as initial members.

The pc cooperation USA/FLT was in full swing in 1992, and the very early release of Fascination for that platform did not come with an intro, but at least an nfo listing Genesis, Silencer, The NotSoHumble Babe (senior staff), Black Jack, Buckaroo Banzai, Fire, General Zennor, HAL9000, Harry Lime, Lord Sterling, Marko Ramius, Minor Threat, R. Bubba Magillicutty, Repo Man, Static, The Guch and The Necromancer, Strider (members), Caramon, FATHead, Kublai Khan (dox team), Heavy Metal, Tomkat (senior couriers), Alexis Machine, Dr. Crippen, Scorch (senior couriers), Egocentrix and Electric Element (trial couriers) as members of the pc division at that time.

The group is considered disbanded, having not made releases since 1992.
