The Black Robes were a Finnish Amiga demo group, under the leadership of Dr. Fatal.

The april 1991 release Stencil Intro listed Dr. Fatal, Dr. Gore, Dr. Skull, Marillion, Mr. Greedy, Dr. Stein, Dr. HC, Dr. Heretic and Draco as members.

When The Black Robes disbanded in 1992, Dr. Skull, Tsunami, Alien, Groo and Dr. Death formed Virtual Dreams.
