This might be the wrong date and/or party, but check this dates out for Hackerence 16 - seems to be the same (and February 1-3 were a friday to sunday 1996, not any other year, so it should have been 1996): mftp://ftp.scene.org/mirrors/hornet/party/invites/1996/hack_xvi.txt
