Gate Miniparty 1989 was held at Hollola School in Hollola near Lahti, Finland. This was the second party in the Lahti area this year, the first one being held in april.

In Gramophone Musics 2, Gate wrote "HERE IS 13 AMIGAS AND 41 HARD AMIGA FREAKS", giving an indication of the attendance.
