NRG 2026:

"eNeRGy 2026"

NRG (eNeRGy) 2026 is a Polish digital culture festival built around a full demoparty with compos for contemporary digital creators.

The event will take place as an accompanying event to Poznań Game Arena (PGA), on the same dates and at the same venue. A supporter ticket for NRG also gives access to PGA, the largest gaming event in Poland and one of the largest of its kind in the world.

NRG is aimed both at active demosceners and at new creators who may not yet be part of the scene. Its programme includes stage competitions for programmers, graphic artists and musicians, with entries presented on a big screen and professional sound system, alongside retro hardware and the Polish Quake III Arena Championships.

One of NRG’s main goals is to bring fresh blood into the demoscene. Through more open and progressive competition and participation rules, combined with visibility at a major gaming event, NRG goal is to introduce the demoscene to a new generation of creators and encourage them to step onto the scene themselves.

It was first teased in the 76th issue of the Speed demopack series, and then the next issue revealed early compo rules, how to get there, and hints at the party website going live during Lost Party 2026.
