Scenest 1998 was cancelled. It was supposed to be held at Mechatronikai Szki. és Gimnázium, Rétköz utca 39, in Budapest, Hungary for PC's, Amigas and the C64. Since their party plans fell through, Scenest organizers teamed up with the organizers of Rage to help arrange Rage vs Scenest 1998 instead.
