I added the "wrong-content" tag because the .nfo file contains contradictory information. It claims that the patch was made for the USA version, but then uses the Japanese game serial number SLPS-00307. Furthermore, the game's psexe file, embedded in the cracktro, also contains the serial number SLPS-00307, leaving no doubt that the patch was actually created for the Japanese version.
The excessive bouncing animation of the selected trainer option is not an emulation issue. I have tested the cracktro on real PlayStation hardware and it behaves the same way there as well.

ps1ch: Maybe that was intentional for a "hyper" feeling. Even the logo's bouncy (not as much as the options)! :P
