Amiex or /X refers to the Amiexpress BBS software for the Amiga. It was originally written by Michael Thomas from Synthetic Technologies from 1989 until 1991, when it was sold to Joseph Hodge who continuted development for LightSpeed Technologies Inc. from 1992 until 1995. From 2018 on, it is developed further by Darren Coles with permission from Joseph Hodge.

This bbs door is in XIM format, which was a format used by alter versions of AmiExpress as well as the fork SigmaExpress.
