I really don't see any sense in such prods on the Atari... proof on concept has been done many times before. I know you have done much better stuff before... so I look out for future releases :)
Jokes asides, I did it because I had a lot of fun doing it, and I think that's the most important! Thinking of the optimizations needed for it to render correctly and making it plays out on a regular STE was very interesting. I think you vastly underestimate the work needed to convert it to a 16 colors playable animation ;) the tricks are not in the 68000 code but in the conversion itself.
