I'm excited to finally share melcom's FFmpeg Audio Normalizer v2.0.1 with you all! This project actually started quite a while ago for my own needs. For years, I had this little batch script I wrote to normalize my audio files, and it worked great for me personally.
But over time, I started getting emails from people asking about audio normalization and tools for it. I really enjoy helping people out, so I thought, "Why not turn my personal script into something more user-friendly?" And that's how this tool came about!
Version 2.0.1 is a big step because it now has a graphical user interface! No more command lines! It's got all sorts of settings to really dial in your audio levels just how you want them. And honestly, I've retired my old batch script completely – I'm using this GUI tool myself now!
To help you get the most out of it, I've also written a detailed help file. Plus, the tool is available in both German and English, so hopefully, it's accessible to more people.
No problem at all. I'm happy to help :) I'm continuing to work on this little tool, so this won't be the final version. Have fun with the tool. Have a nice day o/
