Mobygames says Beneath Apple Manor was originally released by The Software Factory in Nov 1978. But, it was reprinted by Quality Software from California in 1982. Softalk Apr 1982 confirms the game's author was now employed by QA, and the reprint of the game is announced in May 1982.
