Snøggle

by Sowbug

Snøggle authored by Jun Wada was published by Brøderbund. Due to the Apple II font, it is often misnamed as Sn0ggle, and printed in magazines a Snoggle, and this version has (c) 30-Jun-1981 Star Craft.

However, there seems to be an early print of this game named Puckman. Softalk May 1981 has it entering their sales chart at #9 and lists it as Puckman, Puckman (Snoogle), new from Broaderbund Software. Puckman is discussed in a meeting held on the 7th March 1981 and is mentioned as "available".

Softalk June 1981 confirms, Snoggle. By Jun Wada, Broderbund Software (Eugene, OR). One of the more curious aberrations of contemporary programming was displayed by the original, preproduction model of Snoggle — at the time called Puckman after the arcade game of the same name..

To run in the IA emulator, BRUN SN0GGLE
