How can I delete the current ones?
toms: You can't delete screenshots from prods, so it's better to leave it here and ask us what we should do. That being said, deleted. :)
Yoik: thanks! Screenshots updated :)
Please edit the group info for "Proxima(pc)":
Proxima is originally an oldskool PC demogroup based in Norway, and was active between 1994 and 1999.
In 2019, Leuat (Jaws) decided to revive Proxima, with a focus on 8-and 16-bit productions.
leuat: Done!
Merge:

https://demozoo.org/sceners/3990/
Thanks!
Evil: done.
mr.sam: done.
I just realised that we should merge these two tags:
https://demozoo.org/productions/tagged/ahx/
https://demozoo.org/productions/tagged/thx/
Probably the best way is to get rid of THX!
In case you don't know the story:
https://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=13329#c314316
Should i do it manually or any other idea? ;-)
@RufUsul: You are quite right, we should! If you would be so kind as to merge into ahx, that'd be grand. I'll go ahead and blacklist the thx tag in the meantime.
@menace: thx is now empty ;-)
blacklisting it is a great idea!
Yup :) We have functionality in place, wherein we can blacklist a tag entirely, or forward it to another - so in this case, whenever someone enters thx, it autocorrects to ahx.
cool ;-)
https://demozoo.org/parties/3850/ - I found this party with a different spelling so it did not go to the series, I fixed the letter, please add it manually to : https://demozoo.org/parties/series/993/
Do you also have functionality in place to prevent folks from adding bad Youtube captures? It seems not to be the case when looking at Rudi_SSR's edit history.
I'll answer the last question in more detail, and more generally. On Demozoo, we try to be a friendly, welcoming platform for everyone and anyone interested in the demoscene, and not an elitist community where only a few participants are "good enough" to contribute. Calling out someone specificially for "bad" content is not a constructive way to address an issue, whether warranted or not.
As far as I can see, the user in question at least contributes stuff to the database, even though there are some edit wars going on, e.g. here - https://demozoo.org/productions/202337/history/ - that I'd rather we do not engage in. Naturally, we prefer captures of as high quality as possible to be added, from original hardware if possible for oldschool productions - but we'd rather have something than nothing, and I hope people are vigilant in searching to try and find the best possible ones.
Creonix: Seems someone or other fixed it, because it's in the series now :)
menace: Great spin, good luck with that hope-for-quality-control strategy :)
Please delete these following productions, they're not my proper demoscene releases:
https://demozoo.org/music/96651/
https://demozoo.org/music/96649/
https://demozoo.org/music/96648/
https://demozoo.org/music/96636/
This is more of a question: All of the 2chParties are marked as non-online (https://demozoo.org/parties/1996/) but afaik they were strictly web-based? Or did that feature come later?
Gargaj: This is probably down to my ignorance on these when I added them. If you have knowledge that they were online, then I trust that and have now marked them as such :)
mayday: Since it seems they are indeed not particularly related to the scene, I have complied on this one, but it also seems you added several of them yourself back in the day. So, yeah.
I don't have "knowledge" but their archived website at http://web.archive.org/web/20110816112842/http://2chparty.net/index.php?2chparty2009%2Feng says '"2chparty2009" is a online demo party' :)
http://conspiracy.hu/minisites/demozoo-party-map/ revealed that https://demozoo.org/parties/3116/ (UC8) had the wrong "Fischbach" as location.
because i didn't find a way to select the right one i chose the nearby Idar-Oberstein as a workaround.
i think the interface is missing zipcode to really identify a location...
I noted that at https://github.com/demozoo/geocoder/issues/2
I find that if I figure out the region, and I put: location, region, country that usually gets me the correct choice. But a dropdown when there are multiple hits would be more ideal, naturally.
That's the thing:
http://geocoder.demozoo.org/?q=glendale,+los+angeles+county,+california,+united+states
is accurate as it gets when it comes to input, yet it ranks the one in Arizona higher.
There are 5x "Fischbach" in "Rheinland-Pfalz":
http://geocoder.demozoo.org/?q=Fischbach
One of them was the UC8 location ;-)
