According to an interview with c64.com from 2007, the group was started by Profi and HBU - "First there was The Paco Crew (TPC) which was a tiny group I started with my friend HBU in 1986/87". The Piccy of Madonna (31 december 1986) listed Profi, Paco, Redline, Rubberduck, BSC, Thrust and Airwolf as members.

Suburbia (7 february 1987) mentions The Freak as a new member.
