Nemesis was an Amiga cracking group, formed in November 1991 by N.O.M.A.D, Action Man, Zelnik, Infiltrator, The Surge and TIC, after they all left Quartex. The november cracktro for Cisco Heat came with a DMS banner listing the members at that time: Action Man, Amok, Baracuda, Magik, Megadrive, Mr. Rox, N.O.M.A.D, Pioneer, Protocol, Silent Assasin, Skywalker, The Surge, Tom-Cat, TIC, Wolverine, Xtc, Zelnik and Zippy.

German trader Pioneer was busted for blueboxing in april of 1992, and likely discontinued his career in the scene after this. Professor (sysop of Ice Station Zebra) joined, likely late april, around the same time that Sledgehammer (sysop of Head Trauma) disappeared. The april cracktro for Yogi Bears Big Clean Up welcomed Rafal (sysop of Polish Island) to the group. Surgeland and Offshore (previously a distsite) appeared as new boards between the months of april and may. The board Jinxx was listed as a distsite in a cracktro from april, but was apparently a full member board by june. The may cracktros for Boppin and Stormtrooper listed Bionomix, Bluelightning, Braindead, Eddie & Ice (who had joined from Atlantis, according to Maggy 12), Tcm (sysop of Magical Zone) & Joker (sysop of Sado City) and Warduke as new members of the group. A text file was spread on the 29th of may, saying british cracker N.O.M.A.D had left the group, naturally meaning the group's cracking power was severely hurt. The june 24th cracktro for Floor 13 welcome Munchie as a new member of the group, while Championship Football Manager on the 30th welcomed Mr. T, Misfit and Ponyboy as new members. Then, a new text file was spread on the 1st of august, saying The Surge (and consequently also his board Surgeland) left the group. With him, the group lost their second cracker in three months, and this was likely the spark that lead to the group's demise that same month. When the group died, many members - among them Action Man and Zelnik - moved on to help form Ministry.

Nemesis was briefly reformed in late 1992 by The Surge.
