Theatre and Network Party 1990 was held at Tandberghallen in Lillestrøm, Norway. Almost 350 people attended. The party was originally intended to be an Amiga and C64 party, but due to the fact that another group called WOT was holding a C64 party it was pretty much all-Amiga. There was a kiosk inside the party hall, where you could buy food, soft drinks, disks etc. There was no voting system, the winners were decided by the arrangers. The graphics and demo compos were decided by the arraning groups, while music was left to Motion. This can perhaps be seen as a forerunner of The Gathering, what with being held in the same town as the first TG the following year, and featuring some of the same people organizing. Thanks to Vega/No Limits for information.
Selector Pack 9 (december 1990) mentioned in its scroller; "ARE YOU COMMING TO THE NETWORK / THEATRE PARTY (26-29 DEC.) ? IF YOU'RE NOT, THEN MIGHT I SUGGEST THAT YOU DROP BY THE NEAREST SHRINK FOR A TOTAL BRAIN-EXAMINATION IT'S GONNA BE THE GREATEST PARTY EVER HELD HERE IN NORWAY, AND WE IN CRUSADERS WILL SHOW UP WITH 15 - 20 MEMBERS".
These are probably the most complete results you'll ever see, at least as far as the demos go. Selector Pack 14 mentioned PMC in both fourth and fifth place, and also proclaimed "someone from Accept" as the winner of the graphics competition.
