Sauron is originally Norwegian, but later moved to Denmark.

Around 1995 or 1996 he was a co-founder with Adept/Scoop of DiMaga Studios (merged into Innerloop Studios in 1997), a video game development company based in Norway.

He worked on the games Prime Mover (1993), Living Ball (1995), DragonHeart: Fire & Steel (1996), Disney's Pocahontas (1996) and No Escape (2000).
