Gothenburg Computer Cracking was formed in the summer of 1986 by Snokie and Zap according to information in GCC Demo XIV (november) and GCC Superdemo I (december).

In Letter I (18th january 1987), Snokie explained "I CRASHED 'GCC' IN THE MIDDLE OF JANUARY IN 1987" and announced he had left the group to form Swedish Super Crackers.
