iCEPACK December 1993 announced, "iCE Trial has now become SKiLL/iCE Trial. SKiLL/iCE Trial is not a section of iCE, but instead a fully functional group for the Trial artists. The head is SKiLL/iCE Trial is Devil's Spawn, and the HQ BBS is South of Hell."

However, next month, "No one semed to like the SKiLL/iCE Trial idea. :) Everyone felt that it was too much of a separate group, so now the SKiLL name is gone, the artists will be listed in the iCEPACK, no iCE Trial Dist. sites will be used anymore, etc. But the main part of the whole idea, the iCE Trial art pack, will still be released."

The brand would return in March 1995, "YES! your not going nut's ICE TRIAL is back!!! With the recent insurgence of artist in the Scene, ICE felt the need to bring up the standard's one more time and weed thru the bad apples & they have apointed me, Deeply Disturbed to head up ICE trial"
