Other than some ANSI artworks, there's no surviving evidence of Classic Vocs. But it looked to be a New York based PC cracking group. Though, Overkill BBS that's mentioned in classic2.ans is from California. With some members who were also from AAA and BAD, the group could have been active in 1989 or 1990.
The dates of the two ANSI productions shown here are from the file last modification meta, but the artworks themselves could be older.
