The following is a direct record of the disbanding of Damaged Cybernetics, one of the more prominent console groups that has had a direct influence on Nintendo and Super Nintendo emulation. Emulators like Virtual SuperMagicom, SNES '96, and some unfinished projects like LandyNES were all creations by members of Damaged Cybernetics. At the time of this article, Yoshi, the single most important person in console emulation was an active representative of Damaged Cybernetics.
