LoUD is a two men Atari ST demogroup born from the ashes of No Limit Coding, also known as NLC. When ST Survivor joined NLC, as main editor of French diskmag ToXic MaG, only a couple of their members were still active and they didn't stay much longer.

So Thyrex (code) and STS (gfx) went on mostly with new issues of ToXic MaG but also with their greatest project, a gfa megademo. Both of them enjoyed loud music, Thyrex with hardcore and STS with metal, that's where the idea behind the name came from.

It took them alsmot 4 years to get Back in France completed and from a megademo with guests, it ended being a two men production with a lot of reused soundchips. Thyrex being quite a talented gfa coder. He soon showed STS new effects he had been working on and so they started a new demo right away. It became Waiting for the Apocalypse. Unfortunately Thyrex didn't feel like going on so LoUD was already dead.

Since STS went on and painted gfx for various bands and prods, he decided to quit being in a band. Both members spent nice hours working on their prods but it was time to move on. In 2014 ST Survivor returned with new graphics compo entries.
