Adept was a Sweden-based Amiga cracking group, formed around april of 1990 as a merger between the groups Top Swap and Public Enemies. Originally all-Swedish, the group later took in people from Germany, Norway and the USA as well. Some group history is featured in News on Tour 7 (may 1990).

The june 1990 trainer intro for Wings of Fury +2 announced Prison of Wife as a new member of the group, and sysop of their new WHQ.

Maggy 12 (june 1992) reported, "Argon, Oreon, Crash, Decca joined Adept". Germans Crash (code), Argon (code) and Mincer (trade) then all left Adept for Complex around october.
