Matrix was a German Amiga and pc demo group.

X-Files 1 (5 november 1995) reported Stone had joined as internet-operator and supplier, Mess had joined as an ascii-artist, Dr. Sharon had joined as a coder, that Firebird (C-Net Coder) was kicked, that Zero Hour (WHQ) is offline, that Evil Moon is the new WHQ, that Budweiser was no no longer in the group, that Gravedancer joined as ascii-artist and editor and that Shadow joined as graphician.

Sharon, Skyphos, Aurelius and Nero had a short stay in Artwork in 1996, releasing the demo Proton for them at Assembly in august, before returning to reform Matrix.

Having not made any releases since 1999, the group is considered disbanded.
