This weekend, Evoke happens - which as you may know is one of the biggest demoscene events of the year. We'd be remiss if we didn't make it known that naturally this great event streams over on twitch. So if you couldn't make it, you can at least be super jealous of everyone who did, from the comfort of your home. And you can make plans for next year.

The long time running Hungarian C64 demoparty was also taking place last weekend, which proved to be very busy indeed. We've just finished adding all the releases to the database. Time to warm up that old breadbox!

The always cozy Datastorm swept across Sweden this last weekend, with the eye of the storm concentrating on the legendary Truckstop Alaska in the esteemed township of Gothenburg. A good time was had by all, reports say, while those of us not able to be there had to settle for sadness and short burts of joy in the form of streams of video letting us get but a hint of the amazing event.

Ehrm. Right. Got carried away a bit there. There was Datastorm. I'm told it was its usual awesome. There are digital remnants you should explore. Go forth.

Lost Party claims to be the biggest 8-bit demoparty in Poland and we're not going to dispute that claim. The last edition took place earlier this month and we have all the productions for you to peruse.

Well, perhaps not quite :) They did just announce that there will be no less than FOUR acts performing at this years' edition though, happening very soon in the first weekend of august! The four acts are;

The output from the one and only 'Norwegian Demoscene Camping Experience' has now been released to a wider audience and are available on Demozoo, save for a few missing entries. Skål!

The awesome folk behind the Kestra Bitworld Janeway database — the world's biggest archive of Amiga demoscene information — have donated the full data set to Demozoo. You can now see the first results of that collaboration: 10,294 new productions, 13,055 new music tracks, 2,628 new groups, 12,122 new sceners... and we're only just getting started, look out for more additions in the coming days and weeks. That also means Demozoo has now broken the 100,000 production barrier!
