While widely reported as being a february 1987 release, Higher Computer Science wrote in their Y.A.W.O.T. (25th january 1987), "as it is the 25'th of januar 1987 today i declare crazy sample ii as greatest demo of the year 1986!!" - at least indicating that the release date might in fact have been earlier.
