Long ago the powerful wizard Cyrus lived and dominated over a small part of Europe. It was during his reign he created the Silver Sceptre and endowed it with magical powers. He cleverly designed the sceptre so that it's power came from three priceless gems that were set in the sceptre. Without the gems, the sceptre was useless. Many years later, Cyrus died. However, Cyrus had hidden his sceptre and the gems in the dungeons of his castle and created powerful monsters to guard them.
