The rules of Shafted are simple. A amount of money between $10,000 - $20,000 is randomly selected for each round. Each contestant has the option of sharing or shafting the money.

If you and your C64 both share, then you both share in the money for that round. If you and your C64 both shaft, then you both get nothing. But if one of you shafts, and the other shares - the shafter wins the money that round. At the end of 15 rounds, the winner is the player with the most money."
