Mobygames says Frantic Freddy had a 1983 release in the USA and 1984 in the UK.

In the US, Frantic Freddy was published and (c) 1983 by Commercial Data Systems Ltd from Canada.
However, there is no mention of it in any USA magazines, only UK magazines from 1984 of the Audiogenic published game.
