For some reason, the demo (and “Boots” as well) doesn't work on PicoGus and Gravis Ultra Sound cards in GUS mode. But all you have to do is set the mode on the PicoGus using the command “pgusinit /mode sb,” and the demo works. The original Gravis Ultra Sound card also has a command to switch to Sound Blaster mode. Of course, it’s also good to have UniVBE and Pmode/w :).
