Was a bit confused why a demo from 93 was re-released at The Party 95, so i asked Jucke about it: "the story goes like this, we arrived at THE PARTY 1995 in denmark and realised the party had become so commercial they skipped the c64 graphics and music compo cause it was not representable to their sponsors, mcdonalds, pepsi cola etc. Us c64 sceners were pissed off because we felt like a opressed minority. You werent even allowed to vote if you didnt have PC or Amiga. So I came up with this joke "what if they are so lame they dont even know that this "achmed" demo is already released? So by chance i threw it into the compo, just hoping the crew would be lame and actually show it on the big screen, and low and behold, it was shown first at the c64 compo and it made the c64 crowd go nuts. They all knew it was already released and were as surprised as me that it actually passed thru into the compo. So yeah, it was a prank because we (c64 people) were pissed off. And we got our revenge at the compo. During the pc demo compo the crowd was silent, and also during the Amiga compo, but when the c64 compo we showed those motherfuckers how to react to a compo! So even tho its a re-release I have memories of triumph from that demo during that compo."
