Trader's Banquet was no scene BBS in the strict sense of the word - it was a place to download PD software, read messages, and, as a teenager, have a glimpse at erotic short stories. ;) However, as far as I remember, this was the first place where I could actually download demos from, so, for me, this was a crucial point in my scene life.
