I approved all the files on scene.org (figured it was you, ltk :D), so anyone who can help identify these go there and check them out - then let me know here and I'll rename accordingly. :)

http://demozoo.org/parties/1329/ - action conference 1991 - got the (incomplete) results from a rather unusual source, a commercial german amiga magazine.

dipswitch - 02:41 5 July 2015 #

another one: amiga '89 democompo - http://demozoo.org/parties/2683/

dipswitch - 02:46 5 July 2015 #

for the last one: menace, it would be cool if you could check whether you can identify these demos (apart from 1st place). i added screenshots published by the magazine. if you think they are really lost, then they can be tagged appropriately.

ltk_tscc - 18:03 17 July 2015 #

Does anybody have the files (esp. musics) from this party?

http://demozoo.org/parties/843/

menace - 07:31 18 July 2015 #

Did a good amount of work on Intel Outside 1996. The results files were woefully incomplete, but we've added information on all files currently up on scene.org. Not a lot is missing, just a few 4ch modules, raytraced pictures and videos.

ltk_tscc: The homepage definitely makes it seem like it's mostly organized by Intense members. Perhaps we know someone who knows someone in Intense? :) Demozoo community, do your magic!

Retrokomp/loaderror 2015 results are in:

http://demozoo.org/parties/2495/

I'm not sure If I always picked the correct sceners... esp. in the gamedev compo... so please feel free to check it for errors.

It was not uncommon in the 90s to have individual compos with 100's of entries. Usually, the resultsfiles did not reflect every entry - just the first 10 or 15 or so. One of those parties were Assembly 1995, where I've put in a stupid amount of manhours lately to catalogue all the music entries from the party - the files were all there on scene.org, they had just never been properly documented :)

I also ran across the raytracing competition, where only one of the files were present. Thankfully friend of the site and founder of http://janeway.exotica.org.uk, Zeg stepped up, and gave me the entries from his archive. They are now all preserved on scene.org, and all is well with the world. Thanks again, Zeg!

Assembly 1995 is at http://demozoo.org/parties/103/

And I'm not even done yet - lots of intros and demos to document, still. Onwards we go.

More Assembly has been getting the thorough work-over - Assembly 1999 this time around. Over the last couple of weeks I've been trying my best to create the ultimate coverage of this event. In that I've downloaded every single file on scene.org for this party and had a look, in addition to moving stuff around, and filling in a few files that were missing. And finally - everything that still did not have a download link was properly tagged 'lost'. If you can help fill in the blanks, let me/us know or just upload any missing files to scene.org.

http://demozoo.org/parties/106/ for all the goodness.

Anybody got more results of this party series?

http://demozoo.org/parties/series/349/

According to pouet it took place until 2006.

Under Construction 2015 done: http://demozoo.org/parties/2698/
Would be nice, if someone could add the scnee.org results.txt link to the description: https://files.scene.org/view/parties/2015/unc15/results.txt
ASCII done by me, if you want to add that bit too...

Cheers

Saga_Musix - 20:06 1 January 2016 #

Thanks for your work - the results.txt will be fetched from scene.org automatically after a while.

menace - 10:45 24 January 2016 #

It's been a while since we updated you, but rest assured we're always plugging away. :)

Today we have updated authors for a bunch of entries from Tapahtumah 2000 in Finland, where the original results came entirely without entries. Still, we're missing a few from the graphics competition, so should you happen to know the authors for these ones, pipe up! Or, you know, just update them, since we're open like that.
