The Shadows was a Norwegian c64 demogroup, active for two periods of time - from january 1987 until 1988, and then from 1989 to 1990.
Tag Team Wrestling (2 january 1987) listed The Disk Ripper, The Game Spreader, Moonray, Jab, The Wizard and Wilfo as members. By Sanxion Demo (20th january) The Disk Ripper had changed handle to Omega Supreme, The Game Spreader and Wilfo were gone from the list while The Labyrinth Master was a new addition.
The group originally ceased to exist in april of 1988, when all active members - Omega Supreme, Storm Shadow, Moonray, Jab and Wizard - joined forces with Rawhead. They would all return about a year later to the reborn The Shadows.
The Shadows were reborn after Rawhead decided to split up in early 1989, as announced in the february 1989 Rawhead demo Pimplesqueezer 6. Founders of the reborn group were Omega Supreme, Storm Shadow, Moonray, Jab and Wizard. Lynx left Shadows to be in Prosonix only around december 1989.
When the group died in the early months of 1990, many members went on to the new group Panoramic Designs.
