Spirit was an Amiga cracking group, active from 1991-1993. Founders were Mightymuz and Shadow Turtle from Vogue. Originally formed in Sweden, they also had members in France, Denmark, The Netherlands and Austria. They are not related to the earlier group Spirit, based in Germany and active in 1989-1990.
In september 1991, they welcomed Bilbo in France.1
In february, they welcomed Astaroth, Egghead, Highlander and Mike as new members in France.2 In march 1992 they announced Agony had left the group, and listed Mightymuz, Lando, Squiz, Mad, Teofil, Cone, ABG, Chris, Astaroth, Egghead, Maxicode, Highlander, Mike, Spiderwork, Domino, Flame, Inferno and Regent.3 In june it was reported, " Nuke (ex Gallows) joined Spirit".4 Then several mags reported that Cone left Spirit for Noxious.45 The French and Danish divisions then seemingly disbanded later in the year as some members joined TRSI,6 likely meaning the end of the group.
