Falcon Users Netherlands (FUN) was formed around 1996 by the last remaining dutch Atari Falcon users from various groups and contexts. It was originally devised as a user club, and only a part of its members undertook demoscene activities. By the summer of 1999, the remaining active members of FUN renamed the group to FUN Industries to focus on demo releases, while other members did not go along with this rebranding and came back to release games as Falcon Users Netherlands a few years later. FUN Industries later became LineOut.
