Cracker Journal 14 (may 1989) reported that "Wintex, The Demons and Mindwarp are now members of Alpha Flight." Cracker Journal 15 (july 1989) reported that Wintex left Alpha Flight, and also that "One member of Wintex was caught. They found disks and addresses!" suggesting Wintex was a group and not a person.
